Summary:

The mission of the Data Platform org is to provide our engineers and data scientists an innovative, reliable, secured, and easy-to-use infrastructure for ingesting, storing, processing, and interacting with data and ultimately help the teams that build data-intensive applications be successful. You will work with cross-functional teams and lead the planning, execution, and success of technical projects with the ultimate purpose of improving our digital assistant and search experience for customers. We are looking for a Software Tester / QA to develop validation and test solutions for the AIML Data Platform portal that is the main landing and interface for our customers.

Job Description

As a Software Tester / Quality Assurance Engineer in the AIML Data Platform team, you will be responsible for writing tests and validation for the AIML Data Platform portal. This will include:

  • Work with feature teams to understand feature goals, components being modified, and interactions with the rest of the system.
  • Develop feature test plans to ensure the portal achieves its testing goals.
  • Implement new tests when needed to achieve adequate coverage.
  • Automate end-to-end and unit-level testing.
  • Manage automated testing and triage test failures.
  • Report on testing status and follow up to ensure regressions are addressed.

Key Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of web testing or development
  • Experience with selenium, cypress, playwright, puppeteer, cucumber, night watch or similar website and UI testing frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience creating tests that identify software bugs.
  • Analytical skills to independently perform first-level triage on test failures.
  • Software skills with automation languages such as Python, Swift, Ruby, or JavaScript
  • Detailed-oriented approach to understanding, documenting, and executing on test requirements.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively about technical topics (verbal and written)
